At the start of 2025, I really wanted to take up some sort of daily art practice. I have loved doing daily practices in the past and hadn’t had one going recently. There was my poem a day practice, some years ago, and then keeping a woodland journal, and then making a book of my daily walks. So I wanted to do something that would, again, be a daily commitment, something of my own in this very difficult time for our country and the world. But I like trying different challenges. I finally settled on making a tiny piece of art–could be collage, drawing, painting, whatever–on an index card every day this year and posting them. So here they are, all together so I can share them with you in one place. I hope you enjoy them and I hope they might inspire you to start some sort of daily practice of your own.
